From a young age, I’ve been captivated by ghost stories, films, and television. Growing up, these tales filled me with a sense of wonder, curiosity, and excitement. Little did I know that this childhood fascination would shape my future career.
A World of Experiences
Traveling the world with my family, I was fortunate to hear ghost stories and experience haunted houses, ships, and mysterious places firsthand. My father, a renowned cameraman for Sir Winston Churchill, also contributed to my love of storytelling. His work took us around the globe as he opened and developed television stations and filmed numerous documentaries. Among these was the Queen Mary’s maiden voyage—a memory I hold dear. The Queen Mary, docked in Long Beach, California, has always felt like a second home to me, and I never miss a chance to visit it when I’m in the area.
The Journey into Hollywood
The invaluable experiences I gained while traveling with my father ignited my passion for the entertainment industry. I went on to work as a production coordinator at major Hollywood studios, honing my skills in a fast-paced, creative environment. Yet, my true love has always been the documentary format—a medium where stories, history, and truth converge.
The Haunting of Vera Martin Productions
Today, I find myself on an exciting new adventure—producing a ghost series for YouTube through my production company, Haunting of Vera Martin Productions, LLC. It feels like I’ve come full circle, returning to the ghost stories that sparked my imagination as a child. Our productions will offer captivating, thought-provoking videos, always with an element of mystery and the unknown.
